VIRTUAL OCD THERAPY • NY, NJ & OH

OCD can make doubt feel urgent. You may find yourself checking, replaying conversations, avoiding certain situations, or looking for reassurance just to feel settled. Therapy can help you get more comfortable with uncertainty and make choices based on what matters to you instead of what OCD is asking for.

Maybe this feels familiar.

OCD can be confusing and exhausting. You're not alone.

OCD can show up in ways people often miss.

  • Intrusive or uncomfortable thoughts

  • Repeating behaviors or mental rituals

  • Fear of harm, mistakes, or "what if" scenarios

  • Perfectionism and high standards

  • Anxiety that makes it hard to enjoy daily life

It can look different for everyone, including:

Treatment to help you respond differently to OCD.

The goal isn’t to eliminate every intrusive thought or uncomfortable feeling. It’s to help you face uncertainty, step away from compulsions, and make choices based on what matters to you.

Exposure and Response Prevention
(ERP)

Together, we gradually practice facing triggers without checking, avoiding, repeating, or seeking reassurance. Over time, you learn that you can handle uncertainty without relying on compulsions.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
(ACT)

ACT helps you notice intrusive thoughts without getting pulled into arguing with or solving them. You learn to make room for discomfort while choosing actions based on what matters to you.

What you can expect

Therapy will be collaborative, practical, and paced with care. We'll look at how OCD shows up in your day-to-day life, identify the patterns that keep you stuck, and create opportunities to practice responding differently.

You won't be pushed into exposures without preparation or support. We'll build a plan together and adjust it as we learn what works for you.

Understand the pattern

Recognize how thoughts, anxiety, and compulsions reinforce one another.

Build a plan together

Create gradual, meaningful goals that feel challenging but manageable.

Practice responding differently

Learn how to face uncertainty without letting OCD make the decisions.
